Users report issues scanning in OS 11 - Big Sur
Both HP and Brother users are reporting issues with scanning. HP users need to download the HP Smart app for HP printer/scanner units from Apple's app store.
Brother users need to download Brother's iPrint and iScan from Apple's app store. Also if you want or need to re-enable scanning from the scanner to the computer then you will also need to download Brothers's Push Scan Tool.
